In our opinion the best fishing village around. an old fishing village and away from the masses. Former stinky town because of many smokehouses.

A beautifull Fishing village next to Monnickendam. Depending on the weather, day the guide will guide to the best choice for that day.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, Broek in Waterland was considered a major international tourist attraction. Throughout Europe, the village was known as the "cleanest and wealthiest village in Holland." Foreign travelers marveled at the pastel-colored wooden houses, the immaculate gardens, and the residents' extreme obsession with cleaning. We are going to visit it!
